Events South Australia provides sponsorship support to a number of large and small events that promote South Australia and its regions as tourism destinations through the Regional Events Fund.
The Regional Event Fund strengthens the state’s regional events calendar and drives economic stimulus across the regions beyond the traditionally peak summer tourism period.
There are two categories in the Regional Event Fund;
Up to three years’ funding for events that can demonstrate a strong track record of growth and a strategy for event innovation
Up to three years’ funding for new and emerging events that demonstrate potential for growth and development

The 2024/2025 Regional Event Fund will support events held between 1 September 2024 to 31 August 2025.
Applying through the portal
The portal is currently open. The 2024/25 Regional Event Fund will be open from Thursday, 15th February 2024 and will be accepting applications until 5pm, Monday, 6th May 2024. For further enquiries email ref@sa.gov.au.
